Biography
Shon Seungwan, known professionally as WENDY, is a South Korean singer and songwriter born on February 21, 1994, in Seoul. Raised partly in Canada, she is celebrated for her exceptional vocal range and emotional depth.
She rose to fame as a member of Red Velvet under SM Entertainment, where her vocal prowess became a cornerstone of the group's sound. After departing from SM Entertainment, she embarked on a solo journey, releasing her third mini album Cerulean Verge in 2025.
Beyond her powerful vocals, WENDY is known for her warmth, sincerity, and genuine connection with her fans. Her music blends pop, R&B, and emotional storytelling in a way that is uniquely her own.
